DeafME – Silently Changing the World is an inspirational documentary film based on the life and experiences of a humble Deaf business man, Joshua R. Beal.  Although independently produced on miniscule budget, the story of “DeafME” is a powerful one.  Any true champion knows that the true shape of a person’s character shows in the face of adversity.  Everyone faces adversity in life, and everyone can choose how to deal with that adversity.  In “DeafME”, Joshua R. Beal shares his story in hopes of inspiring others.  Joshua not only copes with the adversity of being deaf, but he thrives and helps other people whenever he gets the opportunity.  Why does Joshua help other people?  Well, as he puts it, “Because I can”.  You can help others too.  Be a giver, not a taker.   Have a true champion’s attitude.  If Joshua can do it, why can’t you?  This is the essence of “DeafME”.   Shot entirely in Hawaii on the beautiful island of Oahu, the film (currently in post-production) will be out on the film festival circuit shortly!
