Surfing with no sound and constantly out to help others, Joshua R. Beal is on a mission to inspire others with the new film, “DeafME”.

In brief, “DeafMe” is a documentary that examines the life of a deaf businessman who, despite discrimination and obstacles that exist in today’s society, still cares and gives selflessly to others in need. The story takes the audience into a close view of his everyday life, including work, home and the Deaf community that he serves.

The movie is set in Honolulu, Hawaii and features Joshua R.  Beal as the lead actor and producer.  The Director, Triton Oshiro, is a young and upcoming talent in the Honolulu film scene.  In addition, Jules Fox was the audio and editing whiz who pulled the different music tracks to complement his editing prowess. The film has completed production and is now in the final stages of post-production. We are hoping to start the film festival circuit in the Documentary Short Film category starting in April or May of 2012.
